Our Location

independent and assisted living
In Historic Easton, Maryland

Promoting wellness and independence is paramount to living well for our residents and a priority for The Dixon House.  To meet the social, spiritual, and cultural needs of each person, a full calendar of engaging activities and experiences is planned for a broad range of interests by our full-time Activities Coordinator.  Entertainment by local musicians, pen-pal friends with school-age children, weekly visits from Pets on Wheels and regularly-scheduled church services are carefully intended to nurture mind and body.

There's no shortage of fun and stimulating programs at The Dixon House.  Each resident can enjoy the freedom to choose how often or little they wish to participate.  With activities as diverse as our residents, they can enjoy planting a vegetable garden, hone their putting skills with a  game of Wii Golf, play a friendly game of scrabble or express artistic abilities with watercolor painting.

Whatever the choice, become energized and look forward to each new day.  And of course, join in the many parties planned for nearly every occasion including birthday celebrations, a highlight of each month.

Historic Easton, Maryland, the “8th Best Small Town in America”, is an arts and cultural center with colonial and Victorian architecture and a vibrant community.

The convenient uptown Easton location of The Dixon House is of benefit to residents and families, with nearby access for dining, shopping and strolling the streets of town. An abundance of cultural attractions and a diversity of amenities are within a few blocks of The Dixon House.

A supportive volunteer network including the Academy Art Museum, Master Gardeners, the Neighborhood Service Center and a large faith community of various denominations helps our residents to stay connected to civic, social and church organizations and programs.
